(Wide opportunities for inland navigation in Kerala also bring the sector into decarbonisation limelight. In this session, we take a comprehensive look at hydrogen and its role to power the future of mobility.Both combustion and fuel cell technologies are discussed. Latest technologies pertaining to Hydrogen production, storage, transportation and how to overcome the barrier to scaling these technologies will be deliberated.)

(Complex challenges and opportunities related to infrastructure build-up and maintenance in e-mobility requires a multidimensional approach, considering a range of factors and stakeholders. Drawing on examples and case studies, this session provides a framework for optimizing existing infrastructure assets and building new resilient infrastructure, including new pathways for ensuring quality and performance. Session intends to explore the opportunities and trends in electric charging infra structure innovations and development. Grid to vehicle and vehicle to grid, charging station on wheels (mobile charging) etc to be explored.)

(Multiple alternative fuels such as propane, natural gas, alcohol, and biodiesel are making their ways to the market with the country’s recent thrust in flex fuel vehicles. It is vital to become better informed and more responsible about the challenges and opportunities in their application. The session will also address alternative fuel opportunities in all mobility sectors.)

1:30 – 3:00 pm : Technical Session 8: Regulatory Architecture to foster the transition

(This session focuses on potential regulatory measures in coherence with the state’s proposed policy guidelines on different facets of E-mobility which include demand push, incentives and subsidies, tax benefits, retrofitting policies, R&D investment, collaborations, public procurement of EVs, supply-side policies, zero emission zones, zero emission trekking etc. shall be discussed. The session also includes deliberations on the current rules and regulations and the scope for its modification to attract more opportunities.)
