9:00-10:30 am : Technical Session 1: Alternate Fuel approaches in maritime, freight and other multi-mode transport
(Wide opportunities for inland navigation in Kerala also bring the sector into decarbonisation limelight. A technology and policy review to determine the promising clean fuels for marine propulsion is addressed in this session. The latest options available in alternate fuel sector related to heavy goods vehicle in addition to options available in maritime area are also under the purview of the session.)
11:00 am -12:30 pm : Technical Session 2: Moving Public Transport (buses and 3W) through green fuels
(The transport sector in India must facilitate economic growth while decoupling from its negative environmental impacts. Transport accounts for 23% of the energy-related CO2 globally and it is expected to grow faster than most other sectors. Decarbonization through the use of green fuels is an essential step to achieve global climate change mitigation targets. This session addresses the state of the art technologies and strategies that can enable positive changes in this crucial sector.)

1:30- 3:00 pm : Technical Session 3: GIZ project experiences in India and European Case Studies
(For over 60 years, the Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been working jointly with partners in India for sustainable economic, ecological, and social development. Experts from different target areas will share their experiences from ongoing GIZ projects in India. They will also share ideas from European Case studies in addition to proposing solutions to the most common hurdles faced en route to a hydrogen economy.)
3:30 – 4:45 pm : Technical Session 4: Hydrogen for Green Mobility
(Hydrogen is the single most abundant element in the universe. However we sometimes forget its potential utility as an energy carrier which can fulfil mankind’s quest for clean and sustainable energy sources. In this session, we take a comprehensive look at hydrogen and its role to power the future of mobility.Both combustion and fuel cell technologies are discussed. Latest technologies pertaining to Hydrogen production, storage, transportation and how to overcome the barrier to scaling these technologies will be deliberated.)
4:45 – 6:00 pm : Technical Session 5: Building Resilient infra for E-mobility
(Complex challenges and opportunities related to infrastructure build-up and maintenance in e-mobility requires a multidimensional approach, considering a range of factors and stakeholders. Drawing on examples and case studies, this session provides a framework for optimizing existing infrastructure assets and building new resilient infrastructure, including new pathways for ensuring quality and performance. Session intends to explore the opportunities and trends in electric charging infra structure innovations and development. Grid to vehicle and vehicle to grid, charging station on wheels (mobile charging) etc to be explored.)

9:00 – 10:30 am : Technical Session 6: Exploring Innovative Financing and Funding to enable the transition
(Building efficient and sustainable transport systems guided by the country’s strategic goals require substantial investment in this sector. Flexible schemes and promotional incentives can catalyze growth in investments and support sustainable mobility and the green economy at large.)
11:00 am – 12:30 pm : Technical Session 7: Alternative Fuels for Transportation (Methanol, Ethanol, Biofuels, Biogas, Natural gas) (WRI –Knowledge Partner)
(Multiple alternative fuels such as propane, natural gas, alcohol, and biodiesel are making their ways to the market with the country’s recent thrust in flex fuel vehicles. It is vital to become better informed and more responsible about the challenges and opportunities in their application. The session will also address alternative fuel opportunities in all mobility sectors.)
12:30 – 12:45 pm : Special Address
1:30 – 3:00 pm : Technical Session 8: Regulatory Architecture to foster the transition
(This session focuses on potential regulatory measures in coherence with the state’s proposed policy guidelines on different facets of E-mobility which include demand push, incentives and subsidies, tax benefits, retrofitting policies, R&D investment, collaborations, public procurement of EVs, supply-side policies, zero emission zones, zero emission trekking etc. shall be discussed. The session also includes deliberations on the current rules and regulations and the scope for its modification to attract more opportunities.)
